Impact story
A New Path to Learning, From Home
The challenge
The nearest secondary school was a two-hour walk each way. During planting season, that walk became impossible, and each missed term made returning harder.
The support
A shared learning device, a data allowance, and a weekly mentor call gave her a way to keep studying at home. A local facilitator hosted an evening study circle twice a week.
The change
She completed the year with her class, and now helps two younger siblings use the same device. Her plan is to train as a community health worker.
